Jacksonville, North Carolina Coverage Need

- Opportunity to float to a second location in Kinston, NC (approximately 45 minutes away)
Schedule & Practice Setting
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
- Office-based anesthesia practice
- Fast-paced outpatient environment
Required Licenses & Certifications
- NBCRNA Certification - Required
- Active North Carolina CRNA License - Required
- BLS - Required
- ACLS - Required
- PALS - Required
- Minimum 2-3 years of CRNA experience - Required
Preferred Experience
- GI sedation
- General anesthesia
- Gastroenterology anesthesia
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or office-based anesthesia
- Non-surgical weight loss procedures
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for:
- EGD
- Colonoscopy
- Non-surgical weight loss procedures
- Endoscopic gastric sleeve procedures
- Perform GI sedation and general anesthesia
- Collaborate closely with the supervising physician
Practice Details
- Outpatient Gastroenterology and Non-Surgical Weight Loss practice
- Patient volume: Approximately 17-24 patients per day
- Patient ages: Primarily adults (rarely ages 16+)
- EMR: gGastro (GMED)
- Clinical support includes:
- Supervising Physician
- 2-3 RNs/LPNs
- 1-2 Medical Assistants (MAs)
