Job Title: 60;Part-Time Medical Office AssistantLocation: 60;Mckinney, TXCompany: 60;Premier Pulmonary and SleepFlexible consistent Schedule:Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pmWeekday shifts only; No weekends or holidays requiredPrior experience in allergy office, ENT office or pulmonary office is preferred.Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist with patient rooming, vital signs collection, and general clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations in our pulmonary and sleep medicine practice. Appropriate training will be provided for fast learners who are excited about a career in medical field and an office where they can multitask and make a difference in patients' lives.Key Responsibilities:Greet and room patients in a timely and professional mannerMeasure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturationPrepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient visitsAssist providers with basic clinical tasks as neededMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR systemCommunicate effectively with patients, providers, and staffSupport front desk operations when needed (e.g., scheduling, answering phones)Perform injections for biologics patientsKeep biologics inventorySkin allergy test and immunotherapy injectionsSpirometry, Pulmonary function tests and Six-minute walk test Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred Gap year students, nursing students or Premed students are welcome to apply but must be able to work 9am to 3pm for paid positionVolunteers/RT students/ nursing students are welcome to apply Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferredBasic knowledge of medical terminology and proceduresStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentCPR certification preferredHIPPA certified
