Gastroenterologist (ERCP) Opening Jackson, MILocated in Jackson, MichiganFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Gastroenterology opportunity in Jackson, Michigan Join a growing Gastroenterology division with a dynamic hospital-based program and strong multidisciplinary support Practice includes a balanced mix of inpatient consults, outpatient clinic, endoscopy, and hospital rounding Opportunity created due to practice growth and replacement needs Hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic conveniently located on the hospital campus Clinic supported by dedicated Advanced Practice Providers both inpatient and outpatient ERCP procedures are an essential component of the practice (additional proctoring available if needed) 1:6 shared call schedule, including some weekends Level II Trauma Center Opportunity to participate in graduate medical education and teach residents if desired Epic EMR utilized throughout the health system Collaborative physician-led environment focused on quality patient care and continued program growth Compensation & Recruitment Package Competitive compensation based on experience and training wRVU productivity incentive Quality incentive bonus Sign-on bonus may be available Relocation assistance CME allowance Forgivable loan incentive Marketing and practice growth support Job Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible (must obtain Board Certification within one year) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology Fellowship training in Gastroenterology required ERCP training/certification required (additional proctoring available if needed) Michigan medical license or eligibility BLS certification or willingness to obtain DEA and CSR/CDS registrations required prior to start Clean malpractice and licensure history required H-1B visa sponsorship available J-1 visa sponsorship not available Five to eight years of post-fellowship Gastroenterology experience preferred Benefits Comprehensive employed physician benefits package Medical, dental, and vision insurance Multiple health plan options Retirement plan Tuition assistance Family-forming benefits CME allowance Employee discount programs Professional development and career growth opportunities Community DetailsJackson, Michigan offers an outstanding quality of life with affordable housing, excellent schools, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
