Neonatologist Opening Elmira, NYLocated in Elmira, New YorkFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Neonatologist opportunity in Elmira, New York Join an established neonatal team at the region's only Regional Perinatal Center Practice in a 20-bed Level III NICU with approximately 1,500 annual deliveries, nearly 300 NICU admissions, and an average daily census of 13 Äì15 patients Provide care for critically ill and premature newborns utilizing conventional ventilation and High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) Approximately 15 Äì20% of NICU admissions are neonatal transports from surrounding regional hospitals Work alongside experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners providing 24-hour in-house coverage, transport support, and attendance at high-risk deliveries Strong collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine and pediatric subspecialists Excellent nursing support and multidisciplinary neonatal care team Block scheduling provides excellent work-life balance and allows physicians to live outside the immediate area New graduates are welcome to apply upon completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship Compensation & Recruitment Package Base salary of $250,000 Äì$325,000, based on training and experience Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Recruitment incentives may be available Job Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine New York medical license or eligibility DEA registration required prior to start Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine New graduates encouraged to apply Visa sponsorship is not available Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Professional liability insurance Continuing medical education and leadership development opportunities Licensing and hospital credentialing support 401(k) with employer match Employee stock purchase program Long-term care insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Identity protection benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Supplemental hospital, accident, and critical illness coverage Community DetailsElmira, New York offers an exceptional quality of life in the heart of the scenic Finger Lakes region.
