Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

Miner/Mason & Associates

Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Job description

One of the fastest-growing Pediatric Rehabilitation programs in the country is adding a physiatrist to its team.
You would be joining a large, academically oriented PM&R program in the Southeast with a 5-state referral base and one of the most robust inpatient/outpatient combinations in pediatric rehab , with the option of having up to 20% protected research time in CP . The structure allows you to shape your practice, whether you prefer a broad general PM&R role or want to develop a niche in procedures, subspecialty clinics, or academic work.

What truly sets this program apart is its depth and infrastructure:
  • Large Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, with APP support
  • Established multidisciplinary clinics (CP, spina bifida, neuromuscular, oncology, etc.)
  • Optional protected CP research time (up to 20%)
  • Access to advanced technology, including robotics, prosthetics/orthotics
  • One of the few pediatric programs in the country offering cryoneurolysis
There is also a genuine academic environment with opportunities for teaching and research, without sacrificing clinical volume or flexibility. Leadership is highly collaborative, with a focus on fair workload distribution and giving physicians a voice as the program continues to expand.
From a lifestyle standpoint, you are in a region that offers a compelling balance a lower cost of living relative to other major metros, a vibrant food and cultural scene, and a wide range of professional and collegiate sports. It has increasingly become a destination city for pediatric physiatrists.
