Join an established anesthesia team providing locums CRNA coverage in Suffolk, Virginia. This ongoing opportunity offers consistent night shifts, a collaborative care team environment, and the opportunity to provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
Hospital
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia under the facility's anesthesia care model
- Administer anesthesia medications
- Place epidurals
- Perform spinal anesthesia
- Place arterial lines
- Provide anesthesia for obstetrical cases as needed
- Provide anesthesia support for trauma and outpatient surgical procedures
- Document patient care using Cerner
Special Procedures:
- Epidural anesthesia
- Spinal anesthesia
- Arterial line placement
- Lumbar epidural catheter placement
Procedures Not Required:
- Brachial plexus blocks
- Other regional anesthesia nerve blocks
Call Requirements
- Must be willing to take call
- Maximum of 1-2 call shifts per month
- Most assignments will require little or no call
- All call is beeper call (additional details pending)
Support & Technology
EMR System:
Cerner
Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)
- Active Virginia medical license required at time of submission
- Minimum Level I Trauma experience required
Credentialing
Approximately 90-120 days
Emergency credentialing may be available in approximately 30-45 days.
