Job Order Emergency Medicine Physician
Location: Southwest Florida (Confidential Community Hospital)
Position Type: Full-Time 1099 or W-2
Projected Start: Q3 / Q4 2026
Covalent Medical Management is conducting a search for Emergency Medicine Physicians for an exciting new Emergency Department opportunity at a growing community hospital in Southwest Florida.
This is a strategic recruitment effort for a new hospital-based program currently under development. We are identifying qualified physicians who may be interested in learning more as final operational details are finalized.
Position Highlights
- Approximately 19,000 annual Emergency Department visits
- 11 hours of daily APP coverage

Compensation
- $380K-$432K Sign-On $50K Relo-$30k
- Flexible 1099 and W-2 compensation models available
- Final compensation package will be based on experience and the completed client agreement
Physician Qualifications
Candidates should meet one of the following qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
OR
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM/AOBIM or ABFM/ABOFM) with either:
- A minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience , or
- Completion of a 1-year Emergency Medicine Fellowship
