Function
Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is seeking a physician to join an established team focused on treating an adult population with primary care needs. The organization is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering primary care, behavioral health, and dental health services.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- Part-Time options available: Minimum of 1 day/week, 3 days/week (24 hours) qualifies for full no-cost benefits
- Call schedule: 9 weeks out of the year (every 5-6 weeks), includes carrying a pager during the week and working 4 hours on a Saturday
- Average of 18-20 patients scheduled per day
- Support from approximately 1 RN for every 2 providers and medical assistants
Saturday Incentive Pay
$110/hr for an 8am-12pm shift. If you see an average of 2 or more patients per hour, receive an additional $90 per patient. Minimum earning from this is $3,960 annually (4 hrs, 9 times a year).
Requirements
- Training as an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
- License in the state of CT
- Board Certification
- Spanish skills preferred, but not required
- Candidates graduating from residency in the next 12 months encouraged to apply
