Hospitalist locum opportunity with an established health system that is actively seeking physicians for ongoing inpatient coverage; located in Washington.
Opportunity Highlights:
- ASAP start upon credentialing (approximately 90 days)
- Ongoing assignment with a 6 12 month commitment
- Multiple openings available
- Inpatient hospital medicine setting
- Day, swing, and night shifts available
- Preference for providers who can work 7-day blocked schedules every other week, with consideration for blocks of up to 14 days
- Holiday coverage is a plus
- EPIC EMR
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Inpatient rounding and admissions
- Typical rounding census of patients
- Admitting providers typically see 7 10 patients
- No required procedures
- Providers participate in patient codes as needed and should be comfortable with ACLS-level responsibilities
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Washington medical license (IMLC not accepted)
- BLS and DEA required
- Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
- Experienced Family Medicine-trained hospitalists will be considered
- Third-year Internal Medicine residents may also be reviewed
