Licenses & Certifications Required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Completion of Orthopedic Surgery Residency
DEA Certification
Nebraska Medical License (Highly Preferred) or IMLC (Required)
ATLS Certification (Highly Preferred)
Practice Details
Level II Trauma Center
Orthopedic trauma call coverage only
No office or clinic responsibilities
Surgical cases as needed
General orthopedic and fracture care
Hospitalists handle admissions
Average 1-2 patients per day
Supported by dedicated ED and OR staff
Reason for coverage: Need for additional orthopedic surgeons to fulfill call schedule
