Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

The hospitals operate under a hub-and-spoke model with the main hub being an academic medical center, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The assignment offers a flexible structure with onsite shifts from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and potential night call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8 AM. While night call is not every night, it spans all four sites, providing a diverse and engaging work environment. The anticipated start period is from October to December 2026, with potential for ongoing coverage beyond this timeframe.
Support and Work Environment
Work alongside a collaborative team with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) supporting weekday inpatient rounds. Although APP support is not available during night call, the presence of in-house fellows and emergency department teams ensures comprehensive patient evaluation and management. The work environment emphasizes a team-based approach, enhancing patient care and professional satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Cardiology with an active NE and IA license or IMLC qualification.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications highly preferred.
- Clean malpractice and background history preferred.
- Ability to commit to a specific number of shifts per month for ongoing site support.
