Job Requirements
- Board certified in Neurology
- Active South Carolina medical license required
- Minimum of 2 years of independent clinical experience
- Must be out of training
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA and CSR required
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- Epic experience preferred; provider should be able to test out or complete virtual training if needed
- Flu, MMR, and Varicella documentation required; waivers accepted where applicable
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient neurology care for adult patients
- Evaluate and manage general neurology and headache cases
- Work collaboratively with support staff, including RNs and MAs
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic
- Support continuity of care for a high-volume clinic environment
- Collaborate with nearby facilities as needed, including telehealth coverage when appropriate
- Utilize onsite resources such as laboratory services and neurodiagnostic equipment as part of patient care
