Interventional Radiology Physician

We have an immediate need for a locum Interventional Radiology Physician to provide interventional procedures for our veteran population at the VA Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers a great assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with nations veterans while experiencing NYC s endless attractions.
- Must have completed a residency in Interventional Radiology and be Board Certified / Board Eligible in accordance with the American Board of Radiology
- Physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to:
o Angiography o Cryoblation o Balloon angioplasty/stent placement o Line insertion o Chemoembolization o IVC filters o Cholecystostomy o Vertebroplasty o Drain insertions o Nephrostomy placement o Radiologically inserted gastrostomy o Embolization o Dialysis access & related interventions o Thrombolysis o Biopsy o TIPS placement o Radiofrequency ablation o Biliary intervention o Endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins o On Call
Hours & Schedule: - Monday through Friday 8:00am 4:30pm
- On call (Nights / Weekends / Holidays) required; however, multiple providers will share schedule
- Position starts 2/1/2026 and is a 5-year opportunity!
- Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 4 weeks.
Items Required for Submission: - Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school- written explanations are accepted
- One active, unrestricted Medical License in any state
- Current DEA
- BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA)
- BC/BE Documentation
