Description

Join a dynamic, physician-led emergency department team delivering high-quality acute care in a busy, well-supported hospital setting. This full-time Emergency Medicine opportunity offers 12-hour shifts with a balanced day/night blend (all nights optional), strong APP support, and on-site administrative leadership.

Practice in a 22-bed Emergency Department with approximately 28,000 annual visits, utilizing EPIC EMR and collaborative clinical workflows. Ideal for experienced Emergency Medicine physicians or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physicians with significant ED experience seeking a stable, growth-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a 22-bed ED
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of acute conditions
  • Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice
  • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff
  • Manage high-acuity and trauma presentations
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
    OR
    Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
  • Minimum 12 months / 2,000 hours Emergency Medicine experience
  • Active or in-process Ohio medical license
  • DEA certification
  • Clean malpractice and licensing history
  • Strong procedural competency in emergency care

Working Hours

  • 3x12 Rotating Shifts
  • 12-hour day/night blend (all nights optional)
  • 24 hours/day physician coverage
  • 36 hours/day APP coverage
  • Weekend coverage included within rotation
