Patient Population: Neuro-Ophthalmology & Neurology Patients
Setting: Comprehensive Neurosciences Program
Responsibilities: Providing neuro-ophthalmologic evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of visual disorders related to the nervous system, management of unexplained vision loss, neuro-ophthalmologic testing, patient education, and collaborative interdisciplinary neurological care
Required Procedures: Visual Field Testing, Optical Coherence Tomography, Ocular Alignment Testing & Neuro-Ophthalmologic Evaluations
EMR System: Facility EMR System
Support Staff: RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology Technicians, MSW, PT, OT & Vestibular Rehabilitation Team
Days Per Month: Full-Time Coverage
On-Call/Weekends: Minimal Call Coverage
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Required
- Michigan License Required or Willingness to Obtain
- DEA & BLS Required
- NPDB Self-Query Required at Presentation
