Job Responsibilities:
- Provide labor and delivery coverage, including both low and high-risk obstetrics care.
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OB residents and midwives.
- Conduct required obstetrics procedures such as FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and screening.
- Perform gynecological procedures, including diagnostic surgeries and minor gynecology.
- Ensure comprehensive patient care and documentation in the EMR system, EPIC.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology is required.
- Emergency certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Active Ohio medical license.
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teaching setting.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Self-Query NPDB certificate, pulled within 30 days of presentation.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Board certification in OB/GYN.
- Active Ohio medical license.
