Physician - OB/GYN
Location: Dothan, AL
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Setting: Clinic, Hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman services.
Perform gynecologic surgeries in both ASC and hospital settings, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures.
Participate in OB/GYN call coverage and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum of women's health services.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities.
Schedule
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, four days per week
One-hour lunch break included
Call Coverage: Approximately eight days per month, including one weekend rotation (Thursday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM)
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited OB/GYN Residency Program required.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Eligible for or currently holding an active Alabama medical license.
Strong commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based women's healthcare.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Patient Volume
Approximately 20-25 clinic patients per day.
Average of four deliveries per week.
Average of four gynecological surgeries per week.
