Assignment Details
- Setting: Outpatient with Inpatient Consultative Coverage
- Start Date: Multiple coverage weeks available beginning August 31, 2026
- Contract: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Call: Shared weekday night beeper call and rotating 24-hour weekend call
- Response Time: Within 20 minutes
- Temporary Privileges: Not available
- EMR: MOSAIQ
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage adult hematology and oncology patients
- Provide new patient consultations and follow-up care
- Develop and oversee chemotherapy treatment plans
- Provide inpatient consultations as needed
- Respond to shared weekday and weekend call for patient questions, infusion-related issues, and emergency department consults
- Participate in multidisciplinary cancer care and document patient encounters using MOSAIQ
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
- Fellowship training preferred
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges
- Experience providing both outpatient oncology care and inpatient consultative services
- Comfortable participating in shared call coverage
