- Coverage Dates:
- November 14 (8:00 AM) - November 16 (8:00 AM)
- December 4 (8:00 AM) - December 7 (8:00 AM)
- December 24 (8:00 AM) - January 1 (8:00 AM)
- Schedule: Clinical hours from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with overnight beeper call from 5:00 PM-8:00 AM, including weekends
- Call: Beeper call
- Response Time: 15 minutes
- EMR: Cerner
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Participate in overnight call coverage
- Evaluate and manage patients requiring gastroenterology services
- Perform ERCP procedures
- Provide care for eligible adolescent and adult patients as credentialed
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- ERCP experience required
- EUS experience preferred
- Willingness to obtain privileges for procedures on eligible adolescent patients
- American Heart Association life support certifications required for sedation privileges
- Temporary privileges available
