Opportunity:Physician - Surgery - Surgical Critical Care
Job Details:- Immediate need for locum Acute Care Surgeon coverage to maintain continuous 24/7 coverage while recruiting for a permanent hire
- 24-hour shifts providing round-the-clock acute care surgery and trauma call coverage
- On-call response required within 30 minutes; primarily in-house coverage during the day with trauma beeper coverage at night
- Manage a high-volume census of 30+ patient encounters per shift including acute care surgical cases
- Respond to on-call, ED consult, and urgent OR demands
- Lead and manage all trauma calls as part of the acute care surgery team
- Active Arkansas medical license required
- Board certification required with ATLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30 days
