Job Title: Locum - Physician - Gastroenterology
Join a dedicated healthcare team in Bay City, Michigan, where we are actively seeking Gastroenterologists for 24-hour call coverage. You will enjoy a balanced schedule from Monday at 7 AM to Friday at 7 PM, with no weekend call required, allowing you to experience everything Bay City has to offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage, Monday through Friday.
- Perform ERCP procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with hospitalist support and two colorectal surgeons in the community.
- Manage patient care at a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital.
- Participate in a seamless integration with hospital services.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active Michigan medical license (IMLC accepted with conditions).
- ERCP certification is required.
- Clean malpractice history no exceptions for quick credentialing.
- Local candidates are preferred; provider must clock in/out using Doc Time.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Michigan medical license (required).
- DEA certification is required at the time of start.
- Immunizations and documentation for Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, COVID-19, TB within the last 12 months, and TDAP (within the last 10 years).
