Location: Brooklyn VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY

Period of Performance: Base: Start as soon as credentialed which takes 8-12 weeks for VA.- Jan. 31, 2027; Four 1-year option periods through Jan. 31, 2031; optional 6-month extension. Start may be adjusted for credentialing.
Start Date: 8-12 weeks depending on credentialing
FTE: 1.0 FTE (2,080 onsite hours/year)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM onsite
On-Call: Weekdays 4:30 PM 8:00 AM; continuous coverage Friday 4:30 PM Monday 8:00 AM including holidays
Callback: Paid only upon arrival onsite when called in; estimated 1,000 hrs/year
Physician Requirements: MD or DO. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology. Eligible for VA credentialing and privileging. Must meet all VA compliance, onboarding, background investigation, and credentialing requirements before start. Current unrestricted medical license acceptable to the VA. Current DEA, BLS/ACLS (as required by VA). Ability to perform the full spectrum of Interventional Radiology services meeting national standards. ACR accreditation/qualifications for Interventional Radiology as required by contract.
Rate: Up to $375/hr. Higher rates may be considered for exceptional candidates with significant VA Interventional Radiologist experience.
