Job description

Technical Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager with strong expertise in Data, AI/ML, and pharmaceutical industry solutions to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of data-driven and AI-enabled products. This role will work closely with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, and IT teams to build scalable solutions that accelerate drug development, enhance patient outcomes, and drive data-centric decision-making across the pharma value chain.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute product strategy for Data & AI platforms, aligning with pharma business goals across R&D, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, and commercial operations.
  • Develop a clear product roadmap driven by user needs, data insights, and emerging AI/ML opportunities.
  • Identify high-value AI use cases including molecule discovery, clinical trial optimization, real-world evidence (RWE), and medical insights generation.

Product Execution & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end product lifecyclefrom concept, requirements, design, and development to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, and platform teams to deliver scalable data pipelines, ML models, and AI-enabled products.
  • Create detailed product requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and prioritize backlog effectively.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical researchers, medical affairs, biostatisticians, regulatory, safety, and commercial functions.
  • Drive alignment with business stakeholders and translate complex pharma problems into data & AI product solutions.
  • Act as the bridge between technical and business teams.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics, AI/ML model development, MLOps, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Knowledge of pharma-specific data types: clinical trial data, EDC, CDISC (SDTM/ADaM), RWE, safety data, EHR/EMR, and regulatory submission data.
  • Familiarity with AI applications in drug discovery, clinical development, PV, and commercial insights.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure products adhere to regulatory standardsGxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA, and data governance best practices.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity, security, and model explainability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
  • 612 years of experience in Product Management with a strong technical background.
  • Proven experience building Data/AI products within pharma, biotech, or healthcare domains.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific and technical concepts into user-centric product solutions.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with LLMs, GenAI, and AI-driven automation for pharma use cases.
  • Knowledge of industry tools/platforms like Veeva, SAS, Databricks, Snowflake, Real-World Data sources, and AI model governance frameworks.
  • Certification in Product Management, Agile, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
