Job description

Opportunity:

Physician - Radiation Oncology


Job Details:

  • Provide Radiation Oncology coverage in an ambulatory clinic setting

  • Schedule runs Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • No on-call or weekend requirements

  • Oversee patient treatments, new consults, follow-ups, and planning

  • Conduct status checks and participate in tumor conferences

  • Perform required procedures including SBRT, IMRT, 3D, and SRS

  • See approximately 20 patients per day across various oncologic disease states

  • Work with a support team consisting of 1 RN, 4 Radiation Therapists, 2 Medical Physicists, and 3 Dosimetrists

  • Utilize Epic EMR system

  • Active Board Certification required

  • Kentucky License or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand) required

  • Residency or Fellowship training required

  • BLS preferred and must be obtained by start date

  • DEA preferred and must be obtained for assignment, with prescription plan available if not issued by start date
