Physician - Emergency Medicine


Job Details:

  • Level 2 Trauma Center with one trauma room and 11 exam rooms

  • Major trauma, cardiac, neurosurgery, and other critical cases are transported to a tertiary care center

  • Facility sees approximately 16,000 visits per year with a 24-hour emergency department

  • 65-bed facility serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations

  • Charting system: CPSI EMR

  • ABEM board certification required

  • Active Maine state license required or willingness to obtain

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • DEA required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

  • Hotel and car accommodations provided; flights reimbursed

    This facility is a community-based hospital serving as a Level 2 Trauma Center, providing a broad range of emergency and acute care services to the surrounding region. With 65 beds and a fully operational 24-hour emergency department, the facility is equipped to handle a wide variety of patient needs across all age groups. Critical and complex cases are coordinated with tertiary care centers to ensure patients receive the highest level of care available.
