Availability Required
- Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
- No nights
- No weekends
- No call
- No holidays
Licenses & Certifications Required
- Active North Carolina Medical License (required before credentialing can begin)
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) preferred
- Interventional Pain Fellowship Training preferred
Clinical Responsibilities
- 100% interventional pain procedures
- No new patient consultations
- No follow-up visits
- No medication prescribing
- Perform approximately 25-30 procedures per day
- Candidates should be able to maintain this procedure volume
Required Procedure Experience
- Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural steroid injections
- Facet blocks and radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
- Sacroiliac (SI) joint injections
- Joint injections
- Spinal cord stimulator trials
- Kyphoplasty
- Stellate, celiac, lumbar sympathetic, superior hypogastric, ganglion impar, gasserian, and occipital nerve blocks
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with interventional pain procedures
- EHR proficiency
- Strong communication and bedside manner
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
- Computer literate (training provided on practice workflow)

- Registered Nurse

- Fully equipped in-office fluoroscopy suite with RF generator
