Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Surgery
Active Illinois license
Active Illinois DEA/CSR
ACLS, BLS, PALS - AHA
Two professional references
Clean Malpractice/Background - highly preferred
Required Procedures / Skills Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine training and experience
Assess and prescribe standard wound care treatments
Compression therapy
Wound vacs
HBO treatment oversight
Debridements; casts
Advanced tissue applications
I&D
Callous paring
Chemical cautery
Optional: Punch biopsies
Assignment Details Practice Type: Outpatient Wound Care + Hyperbaric Medicine
Level II Trauma Center
Daily Case Load: 12-20 outpatient wound visits, 1-4 outpatient HBO treatments
Center has 8 exam rooms and HBO suite with 2 chambers
Support Staff: Highly Skills RNs, 1 APP (available Tues-Thurs)
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days (can be escalated to meet start date)
EMR: EPIC
