Schedule: Day shift coverage with multiple shift length options, including 8 hour, 10 hour, and 24 hour coverage blocks, with weeknight and weekend pager call required as outlined in the order details

Position Overview
Provide anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting in a medical direction model. This role includes a broad surgical case mix with orthopedic volume and requires board certification as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

Medical direction model with supervision ratio up to 1 to 4

Case mix includes general and orthopedic cases plus additional services as outlined in the order details

No cardiac cases and no head cases as outlined in the order details

EMR: Epic

Number of anesthesia rooms: 6

Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as neededRequired Qualifications

MD or DO

Board certified in Anesthesiology

Active Pennsylvania medical license required to present

Completion of an approved anesthesia residencyAdditional Requirements

Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Not accepting candidates needing to obtain a new state license as outlined in the order detailsCredentialing
