Job Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology required; board eligible providers cannot be accepted
- Active Texas medical license or active IMLC required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical activity required
- At least 6 months of clinical experience in the OB/GYN specialty required
- Experience with inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care preferred
- Completed prescreen questionnaire required
- Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained required
- Self-query NPDB completed within 30 days of submission required
Responsibilities
- Provide OB triage, admissions, and inpatient obstetric care in a hospital setting
- Attend deliveries and support labor and delivery emergency response
- See unassigned patients and provide private call coverage as needed
- Cover the OB floor and respond to ER consults for GYN emergencies
- Assist with cesarean sections and surgical support
- Perform fetal monitoring and help manage high-risk obstetric situations
- Collaborate with in-house neonatology, maternal-fetal medicine, and anesthesia teams
