CRNALocation: Connecticut
Schedule: 8 hour day shifts. Standard shift time is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime may be available when cases run late. No call required (optional call may be available).

Position OverviewProvide CRNA coverage in a care team model with physician anesthesiologist supervision. This role supports multiple anesthesia sites and a broad surgical case mix as outlined in the order details.
Clinical ScopeSupervision ratio: approximately 1 physician to 2 to 3 CRNAs
Case mix includes general and colorectal, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, orthopedics, cataracts, pacemakers, cardioversions, TEE, and GI
No heads or neuro, no trauma, and no open hearts
Pediatric cases are not required for locums CRNAs as outlined in the order details
Charting: paperRequired Qualifications
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
Current certification or recertification through the AANA Council on Certification or Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists, or eligibility as outlined in the order details
Active Connecticut license required to presentCredentialing
