Primary Care NP or PA (Locum Tenens)

Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Position Overview
Provide outpatient primary care coverage including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits.
Clinical Scope
Ages seen: Pediatrics age 2 and up through adults
Patient volume: Approximately 2 to 4 patients per hour
Visit types: Acute care, wellness visits, and primary care
Comfort with well women exams and chronic care
In clinic procedures are a plus but not required
Not a workers comp clinic, may complete first report of injury when needed
No pain management
Charting: Paper charting until access is provided
Required Qualifications
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
DEA registration required
Experience: 2 plus years preferred
