- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00a 5:00p
- Call: Nights & weekends required
- Setting: Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
- EMR: EPIC
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Surgical pathology sign-out (pediatric biopsies & resections)
- Frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
- Gross exams and specimen triage
- Autopsy and perinatal autopsy coverage (low volume)
- Multidisciplinary consults (surgery, oncology, neonatology)
- Rush specimen review
Volume:
- Surgical cases: /day
- Frozen sections: 0 5/day
- Consults: 0 5/day
Team Structure:
- Work alongside experienced AP physicians and full lab support staff
Requirements:
- Board Certified in AP & Pediatric Pathology
- Active New Jersey license
- Pediatric pathology experience required
Additional Details:
- No APP supervision required
- Full privileges available (credentialing timeline dependent)
