Emergency Medicine Physician
Location: Texas
Schedule: 12 hour day and night shifts.
Openings: 1
Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a hospital emergency department.
Annual emergency department volume referenced as approximately 25,000.
Trauma level referenced as Level IV.
Charting system: MedHost.
APP coverage supports the department as scheduled by the site.
Required Qualifications
MD or DO.
Board certification accepted: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
For Family Medicine or Internal Medicine: minimum of 2,000 hours emergency department experience as required.
Active Texas medical license in hand.
DEA with Texas address in hand.
ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
Trauma CME as required by the site.
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing and Onboarding
Estimated credentialing timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.
