Emergency Medicine Physician
Location: Tennessee
Schedule: Full time coverage with a 24 hour physician coverage model. Day and night shifts available.

Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a community hospital emergency department.
Annual emergency department volume referenced as about 17,000.
Coverage model includes APP support as scheduled by the site.
Charting system: McKesson and Allscripts.
Acuity referenced as medium.
Required Qualifications
MD or DO.
Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine as accepted by the site.
Board certification preferred.
Active Tennessee medical license.
DEA with Tennessee address and required schedules.
Tennessee controlled substance registration as required.
If not emergency medicine boarded: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing and Onboarding
Estimated credentialing timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.
