Emergency Medicine Physician
Location: Louisiana
Schedule: Days and nights required. Shift times include 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Minimum of 3 shifts per block as referenced.

Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting.
Annual volume referenced as approximately 28,415.
No call as referenced.
Charting system: Epic.
Required Qualifications
MD or DO.
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site.
Residency trained as required by the site.
Active Louisiana medical license.
DEA with Louisiana address.
Louisiana controlled substance registration as required.
ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS as required by the site.
Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing and Onboarding
Privileging timeframe referenced as 30 to 60 days.
Orientation, EMR training, and a shadow shift may be required.
