Locum Interventional Radiologist Oklahoma

Medix Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a locum coverage need at a community hospital approximately 45 minutes outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
SETTING:
- Short-term acute care community hospital ( 48 beds) located approximately 45 minutes outside of Oklahoma City, OK
SCHEDULE:
- 4 days per month
- Flexible options include: 1 day per week, 2-day blocks every other week, or a 4-day block once per month
- Shift hours are 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:00am-4:00pm. No call required
PATIENT VOLUME:
ASSIGNMENT LENGTH:
- Ongoing, anticipated 6-12 months
- Start ASAP once credentialed
EMR: Meditech
PROCEDURES:
- Mammography
- ultrasound
- biopsies and breast biopsies
- paracentesis
- thoracentesis
- Optional participation in diagnostic reads with remote teleradiology team
REQUIREMENTS:
- MD or DO fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology
- Board Certified preferred, Board Eligible accepted
- Active Oklahoma license preferred, IMLC accepted, willing to license
- BLS and ACLS required
- Case log for last 2 years required
- Malpractice history considered case by case
