Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Position Highlights
- Tuesday Friday schedule
- Clinic: Tuesday and Fridays
- Orthopedic trauma clinic and hospital consults
- Clinic Responsibilities: No procedures done in the clinic. Will work with MA. Must be comfortable working independently. Possible cast remove, putting casts on, suturing, etc.
- Inpatient rounding and patient management
- Possible opportunity for first assist in the operating room
- Pre-operative and post-operative care
- Evaluation and management of orthopedic trauma patients
- Average of 2 4 orthopedic trauma consults per day
- Trauma consults are expected to be evaluated within one hour of notification
- Collaborative physician-led practice with dedicated orthopedic trauma surgeons
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Orthopedic surgery, trauma surgery, or surgical APP experience preferred
- First assist experience preferred
- Georgia licensure or NLC (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical decision-making and excellent communication skills
