Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana, commencing Aug 1, 2026. This role involves onsite coverage Monday through Thursday from 7am-7pm, focusing on advanced surgical procedures such as TAVR, CABG, and comprehensive management of acute cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. Responsibilities and Duties TAVR CABG Vent Management Bronchoscopy Evaluation and management of acute volume/blood pressure issues Insertion of Central line Insertion of Arterial line Insertion of PA catheter Insertion of IABP General CV/thoracic surgery Coronary artery bypass surgery Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.) Valvular repair Additional Information EMR: Cerner Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
