We are seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist for a recurring monthly rotation in Pennsylvania. This role provides high-level neonatal care within a Level III NICU, supported by a robust 24/7 in-house mid-level team.
Clinical Details & Schedule - Frequency: Approximately one week (7 days) per month.
- In-House Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM for NICU rounding and outpatient clinic.
- Call Profile: 24/7 pager call while on assignment (Off-site/Out-house).
- Response Time: 20-minute emergency response required.
- Outpatient Clinic: Every Thursday (located at the hospital); max 7 patients.
- Volume: Average Daily Census: 9 11 infants.
- NICU Admissions: 20 per month.
- Deliveries: Attends High-Risk only (including high-risk C-sections).
Facility Profile - NICU Level: III A ( beds).
- Trauma Level: 1.
- Support Staff: 5 Mid-levels (NP/PA) in-house 24/7 and one full-time Neonatologist.
- EMR: Epic.
Requirements - Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) Medical License.
- Life Support: Must hold active ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Communication: Must be comfortable using facility-provided pager and Spectra Link phone.
