Job Details:
Inpatient emergency medicine coverage with hospital-only schedule4-8 shifts per month required, typically in 1-2 blocks of 4 consecutive shifts, with some flexibilityDay shift hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; night shift hours are 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM (may extend to approximately 7:00 AM)Looking for 1-2 locum providers to cover both day and night shifts; night shifts are the primary needProviders must be willing to work night shifts; those seeking exclusively day shifts will not be consideredApproximately 16 patient encounters per shiftAnnual department volume is approximately 37,000 visitsBoard certified or truly board eligible within 3-5 years of residency requiredActive state license and DEA requiredACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications requiredLevel 3 trauma facility with 24-hour availability of anesthesia, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, neuro-surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiologyAll providers will be contacted for a phone interview with the medical directorFacility:
