Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
- Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians who are board certified in ABEM or AOBEM
- Locum need is equivalent of 2 FTEs
- Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
- Preference for providers open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated freestanding emergency departments
- Main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts; affiliated freestanding emergency departments require 12-hour shifts
- Shift times include: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM, and 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Required certifications include ABEM or AOBEM board certification, ATLS (at least once in career), ACLS, and PALS
- All experience levels accepted if boarded
- All standard emergency room procedures required
- Level II Trauma Center with transfers limited to plastics/hand, neuro IR, and pediatrics
- Average patient census of 170 with 24% annual emergency room admissions
- Most common cases include trauma (primarily blunt) and a general mix of patient types
- Neurology and psychiatric robot assistance available on the unit

The emergency department maintains a robust support staff and handles an average daily census of 170 patients, with access to affiliated freestanding emergency departments in the region.
