- 10-bed Emergency Department
- Level IV Trauma Center
Emergency Department Volume:
- Annual ED volume: approximately 11,000 visits
- Average daily volume: approximately 31 patients/day
- Average patients per hour: 1.2
- Admission rate: 6.9%
- Transfer rate: 6.1%
Patient Population:
- Adult and pediatric patients
- Pediatric visits: approximately 22%
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients
- Manage acute medical and surgical emergencies
- Provide appropriate patient disposition
- Coordinate admissions and transfers
- Collaborate with specialty consultants and hospital teams
- Participate in patient satisfaction and quality initiatives
- Document patient care using Meditech

- Board Certified Emergency Medicine required
- ABEM certification required
