Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Predictable schedule with shared call; call rotation 1:8 evenings/weekends; 4 weeks PTO, 1 week CME, 6 paid holidays
- Job Setting: Level III Trauma Center
- Types of Cases: Full spectrum of degenerative, traumatic, and deformity-related spinal conditions; cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine care; complex surgical work and general spine care
- Credentialing: Valid IL & IA license or Active IMLC required; no J-1 or H-1B visa support available
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Spine Surgery (must become certified within 5 years); no exceptions
- Certifications: BLS Certification (must maintain recertification); fellowship training in Orthopedic Spine Surgery required; current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications; DEA required
- Licensure: Valid IL & IA license or Active IMLC (willing to obtain); clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- $739K guaranteed salary (2 years); production model after 10,650 wRVUs
- Straight production model year 3; earning potential $1M+
- $100K recruitment incentive + $15K relocation assistance
- $6K CME allowance
