Position Highlights - 100% Outpatient Primary Care
- Monday Friday schedule
- 8-hour workday
- No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

- Average of 13 patients per day

- Collaborative interdisciplinary care team
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Responsibilities - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform annual wellness and preventive care visits
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Document care within the VA electronic medical record (CPRS)
Qualifications - MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to obtain VA credentialing and security clearance
