Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad range of emergency medical conditions
  • Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice
  • Stabilize critically ill and injured patients
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations
  • Collaborate with residents, specialists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Accurately document patient encounters using Meditech

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
  • Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program required
  • Ultrasound Fellowship preferred
  • Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
  • Current DEA registration
  • ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required
