Practice Details:
Seeking an orthopedic surgeon to provide Level II trauma call coverage at a busy regional hospital. Responsibilities include orthopedic trauma call, fracture management, and surgical cases as needed. Hospitalists handle all medical admissions.
Volume:
Average 1 2 patients per day
Average callback: Approximately 2 hours per 24-hour call shift
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency required
Active Nebraska license required (IMLC accepted for credentialing, but provider must hold a Nebraska license prior to start)
DEA required
ATLS highly preferred
Case logs required at time of presentation
Availability must be provided at time of name clear
Clean malpractice history preferred
