Clinical Role
Join an established outpatient Gastroenterology practice in Largo, Maryland, providing endoscopy services during an ongoing locums need. This opportunity offers a procedure-focused schedule, no call responsibilities, and a collaborative outpatient environment utilizing EPIC EMR. Multiple providers will be considered.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Procedure Schedule:
- Upper Endoscopy: Approximately 30 minutes
- Colonoscopy: Approximately 30 minutes
- Combined Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy: Approximately 60 minutes
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Perform outpatient upper endoscopy procedures
- Perform outpatient colonoscopy procedures
- Evaluate patients prior to procedures
- Provide post-procedure recommendations and follow-up
- Utilize moderate sedation for most procedures
- Collaborate with endoscopy nursing staff and clinical teams
- Document patient care using EPIC
Support & Technology

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology required
- Fellowship training required
- Active Maryland Medical License required
- IMLC welcome
- ACLS required
- BLS required
Credentialing
