All Star Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a Virginia healthcare facility seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for ongoing locums coverage.
Position Highlights
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Shift Length: 16-hour shifts
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Facility: 135-bed acute care hospital
- Practice Model: Collaborative care environment with Neonatologists and OB Hospitalists
Provider Requirements
- Active Virginia license required (IMLC not accepted at this time)
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing
- At least 1 year of recent clinical experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Neonatologists during daytime hours
- Provide in-house nighttime coverage with Neonatologist backup available within a 30-minute response time
- Attend deliveries
- Support and educate RN and RT staff as patient volume and acuity increase
NICU & Facility Overview
- 8-bed Level III NICU
- 10 Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDR) couplet care rooms
- Average daily census of 9-11 patients across the NICU and nursery
- Approximately 1,250 annual deliveries
- Dedicated in-house OB Hospitalist program
