- Occupancy: 90%+ census
- Length of Stay: Approximately 10 days
- Provider Team: 3 additional providers
- Call Requirement: PRN call coverage with call pay provided
- EMR: WellSky (implementation scheduled for September)
- Provide PRN psychiatric physician coverage for inpatient behavioral health services.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and oversee patient care plans.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry required.
- Active medical license and DEA registration.
- Experience in acute inpatient psychiatry preferred.
- Competitive contract compensation.
- Call pay available.

Responsibilities
Summary:
- Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years' post graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
