JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Arizona license
  • Board: PA (Physician Assistant) board certification required
  • DEA: DEA required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide cardiothoracic surgical care to adult/geriatric patients
  • Manage CVICU and step-down patients (10-15 per day)
  • Perform surgeries (1-2 per day) including endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
  • Take beeper call from 3p-7a on weeknights during assignment
  • Perform required procedures such as temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and arterial line placement
